About

About Me

In college I never would have considered myself a fitness enthusiast or a health nut. I often scoffed at the idea of going to the gym, labeling myself as someone who was skinny enough not to need exercise.

I wish I could go back in time and slap my 19 year old self.

Don’t get me wrong though, ever since I was young I did participate in some form of activity. The way I kept in semi-shape throughout my life was through Bollywood dancing! In undergrad I was on an intense all girls Indian Bollywood dance team where I met most of my best friends.

For those of you who haven’t heard of competitive Bollywood dancing, there’s a whole world of collegiate competitions and teams that exists across the nation. Maybe one day I’ll write a blog post about it 🙂

Now I am a firm believer that exercise and healthy eating is the ultimate key to a long and happy life and makes you an overall better person. I’ve been wanting to start a blog for a while, but didn’t know if what I had to say would be at all interesting. Please read my first blog post to get an idea of why I started this blog in the first place.

If you’d like to know more, please feel free to drop me a line in the comments, I’d love to hear from you.
